You Bought 6 EAs. Congratulations, You Now Have One Fat Risk

Hello my algo trading friend!
Last time I told you the holy grail isn’t one perfect EA. It’s a portfolio.
A lot of you heard “portfolio” and translated it as: buy more robots, dump them all on the same account, each one at full standalone risk… and call it diversification.
That’s not a portfolio.
That’s one fat risk wearing six different hats.
The scene I keep seeing
Somebody buys a handful of EAs. Feels smart. Feels “pro.” Opens one account, loads everything at the risk they’d use if each robot ran alone, and waits for diversification to do its magic.
Then the market has an ugly week.
And surprise: if those EAs were all running at full standalone risk, the drawdowns stack. Your “six systems” suddenly look like one system with extra charts.
Your combined drawdown does not care that you paid for six licenses.
The market, being the clever bastard that it is, just added the risk together.
Buying more EAs is not the same as reducing risk
Real diversification means the pieces don’t all bleed at the same time.
If you run five EAs at the full risk you’d use for one, you didn’t reduce risk. You multiplied it and gave it a nicer story.
So the first rule is boring, and it’s the one almost nobody follows:
Risk is always divided across the EAs. Never run each EA at the full risk you would use if it ran alone.
The easy way: divide the risk by the number of EAs. Five EAs means each one at about 1/5th of the standalone settings. Not “a little less.” A lot less.
Yes, the account will look slow at the start.
Good.
Slow and alive beats fast and fused.
How the Gold Bundle is meant to be run
I love gold. I trade gold. A big part of my book is gold.
That’s why the Gold Bundle exists. Four gold EAs built to run as a team, not four strangers.
Gold Reaper and Gold Phantom are the intraday H1 breakout pair. Gold Trade Pro and Goldbot One live more on the daily. Different timeframes help. They are not fully glued together. Running two gold EAs together is fine if you actually use the combo setups, not the “this EA runs alone” sets.
They can lean the same way in an ugly gold week. That’s normal. That’s expected.
That’s why the combo sets exist, and why you divide the risk.
Used that way, you don’t have “four extra bets.” You have a gold book.
The fat-risk mistake is not owning the Gold Bundle. The fat-risk mistake is treating every EA, gold or not, like it’s the only one on the account.
What actually diversifies
Here’s the mix that does the job, in real life, not on a sales page.
Gold EAs make most of the money. That’s the engine. The Gold Bundle is that engine.
If you want pieces around that book that are not gold, Daytrade Pro (daily breakouts, a basket of symbols) and Luna AI (night scalper, different hours, different logic) are the uncorrelated add-ons. They don’t need a mountain of extra capital.
That’s fine. The Gold book can stay the star.
If everything in the account is running at full standalone risk, the drawdown will be exciting too. Divide it. That’s the whole trick.
A simple, honest gold book looks like this: the Gold Bundle, run on the combo sets, with the risk actually divided. Two or three gold EAs: the 3GOLD combo. All four: the 4GOLD combo. Individual-folder sets are for running one EA by itself.
That’s the Gold Bundle. Awesome gold book. Best entry. The one most people buy, and the one I still point to first. Gold Reaper, Gold Trade Pro, Goldbot One, Gold Phantom.
Not “everything I own, max risk, one tiny account.”
The ultimate diversifier
The Gold Bundle is already an awesome gold portfolio.
Want the ultimate version of this idea?
That’s the Ultimate Breakout System, inside the Full bundle.
Not one more gold EA. Not a replacement for the bundle you already love. The mother factory behind the gold robots. Same DNA: breakouts, hard stops, no grid, no martingale. Instead of one product doing one job, you get a strategy factory. +300 strategies already in the box, and you can keep building more. Different markets, different timeframes, different personalities. Then you throw them together so the rough individual curves become one smoother book.
I even made a video about balancing UBS portfolios. Same idea applies to the rest of the book.
Gold Bundle = awesome gold engine.
That’s not “buy 6 EAs and hope they don’t all die on Tuesday.” That’s actual diversification, packed.
Same account or separate?
Same account is fine if the account is actually big enough and you cut the risk.
If the account is small, separate is safer. Isolation is a feature. A mess in one book shouldn’t take revenge on the others.
If the account is bigger and you want several different setups, I don’t dump the whole circus on one login. I split. Different combinations. Different jobs.
More accounts is not a flex. It’s how you stop one ugly week from becoming a personality crisis.
The part nobody wants to hear
Don’t time it.
Don’t disable the EA that had a bad week so the “good” one can cook.
That’s not portfolio management. That’s you, sneaking back into discretionary trading through the back door.
A portfolio only works if you let the uncorrelated pieces be uncorrelated. That includes sitting through the one that’s currently ugly.
The short list
More EAs is not less risk. Divided risk is the whole trick.
Run the Gold Bundle on the combo sets, not four standalone full-risk sets.
Want extra uncorrelated pieces around the gold book? Daytrade and Luna.
Gold Bundle is the awesome gold book. The full bundle with UBS is the ultimate.
Same account only if the size and the reduced risk justify it. Small account: split.
Hands off. No market-timing the robots.
That’s the sequel to the holy grail post.
The grail is a portfolio.
The portfolio is a risk budget.
Without the boring part, you just bought a more expensive way to blow up.
Awesome gold book. Ultimate full book.
The Gold Bundle is awesome. Best entry. The one most of you already bought, and the one I still point to first. Gold Reaper, Gold Trade Pro, Goldbot One, Gold Phantom. Combo sets, divided risk, hands off. That’s a real gold book.
If you want the ultimate: the full bundle with UBS. Your gold engine PLUS the factory (+300 strategies), Daytrade, Luna, the rest of the book. That’s when it stops being “a few EAs” and becomes a proper diversified machine.
Keep the Gold Bundle. Add the ultimate on top when you’re ready:
Drop a comment if you’re running a stack right now. How many EAs, one account or several, and whether you actually cut the risk or just… hoped.

P.S. Prop / funded account? Don’t “split” the max daily drawdown across EAs.
Set the same max daily on every EA (the account’s cap, not cap divided by six).
Splitting the percentage is how you blow a daily limit with two EAs that both had a normal day.
Also, since I practice what I preach, I have incorporated all the principles that I write about into my trading robots. And this is what sets me apart from the 99% forex guru’s who are only interested in selling you a dream, but mostly deliver you a nightmare.
Don't forget we have a special offer currently, where you get 1 EA for free, with any purchase over 549$! So that means if you buy Gold Reaper, you can choose 1 EA for free as well (limited to 2 trade accounts)
